Pretty decent. Could be better with minor gripes regarding power buttons.
PRO's: Works as intended. Looks flimsy but it is actually a sturdy build. Suction cups as the base of the dock is a nice addition. Used the USB 3.0 cable instead of the eSATA cable and inserted an SSD drive on one slot and a mechanical disk on another and it works fine. Speed is decent to fast, as expected of USB 3.0, depending on the hardware you are using. Great feature and functionality of being able to select only which drives you want to access by having a separate power button for each slot. CON's: Not really that big of an issue but the power cords are somewhat short, well shorter than my expectations but I can easily adjust to that. One thing that I would foresee that would really irritate me in the future would be regarding the accessing of the drives. Firstly, the power buttons for the slots are somewhat loose and can be easily pressed, even more problematic is that turning on/off the power on one slot would also affect the power state of the other slot even if I have separated my drives (the mechanical drive is on slot 1, my SSD is on slot 4; turning off slot 4 also turned off slot 1). Lastly, when idle or when the drives are not being accessed, my computer is not able to recognize or "see" my drives but it has only happened to me once so far. Overall: 3/5. You get what you want in buying this docking station. Minor issues can cause little irritation when using the drives, but the dock delivers what it promises in terms of its performance. Also be informed that there is no active cooling option in this dock, so you might want to place this dock strategically close to a cooling option like a desk fan or anything similar (just to be on the safe side).
I would recommend this product!
