I was fortunate enough to attend the local launch of NutriRite, one of the newest cereal drink brands to hit the Philippine market. Now, you might be wondering what a tech blog was doing at a food and lifestyle event. Well, it just so happens that NutriRite has a couple of tricks up its sleeve.
First is Ellen Adarna, who many local gadget enthusiasts will recognize as Gionee’s brand ambassador. Well, it just so happens that NutriRite has signed her on as a brand ambassador as well, meaning you’ll be seeing her on advertising spots and marketing materials as the brand sets out to make its mark.
Second is that they’re launching a fitness tracking app as well. Not only will you get a meal planner that will allow you to plan out breakfast, lunch, and dinner for up to 30 days, but you’ll also get a set of daily activities you can easily incorporate into your daily life. What’s even better is that by scanning packets of the NutriRite you’ve consumed, you’ll be able to unlock exclusive Ellen Adarna content. Win-win-win!
Now, the Philippine market is no stranger to cereal drink brands, but NutriRite certainly has a fighting chance as it offers something that no other local cereal drink brand seems to be doing by launching an easily accessible Fitness app that can be downloaded for free. Coupled with Ellen Adarna’s ability to drive a following and we just might be seeing more of NutriRite in store shelves.
